With rising prices and a Statewide housing shortage, finding an affordable home to buy in Northern Rhode Island and qualifying for a mortgage is not an easy task these days.
Whether you are trying to buy your first home, or just dreaming about it, WNDC is here to help you. We do a variety of things to make this happen. From running our Financial Fitness and Homebuyer Education Clubs to providing special grants and loans to make owning a home financially possible. We also build or renovate homes for sale to first-time buyers like you.
We have found that most folks disqualify themselves from homeownership before they even start the process. They get discouraged over past credit problems or simply give up because they don't know where to turn for honest, no-nonsense, impartial, advice and counsel.
This is where our small group education classes and private individual counseling sessions can help. If you are motivated and serious, we will help you take the right steps to overcome the barriers and stumbling blocks that are stopping you from buying your first home.
