For Lenders
Banks and other limited purpose lenders are key partners in today's affordable housing and community development environment. Private capital is essential to the revitalization and economic growth of traditionally underserved communities.
The Community Reinvestment Act [CRA] has imposed some requirements on lenders to meet the credit needs of the local communities where they are chartered, however, astute institutions and firms have quickly realized that well crafted and innovative community lending, service and investment programs and products are profitable business lines. WNDC has worked with several partners to design and implement several successful programs, and has ideas on lots of others that can meet community credit needs, and boost your profit margin.
